There’s a chase. And there’s an outcome.
This chase is between us and God. But little do most of us know that from the beginning, we were not chasing after God. Instead God was chasing after our hearts.
And the outcome of it all is that now not only does God chase after us.. But we earnestly chase after Him. Although He has made Himself readily available for us, we seek to know Him more.
Despite what people may think or believe about you does nothing to what is actually true. A lot of times, we as people fight so hard to get the chase from other people. We want to be noticed, listened to, cared about.. We want to be a part of the big plans we see before ours eyes.
But whether your dream is to serve in the ministry or to make it big somewhere else.. The way to aligning your dreams with Gods desire is by removing your focus off of people. Your friends, family, church family. Because if they don’t believe in your drive as well as you do or as well as God sees.. They won’t help you achieve it, and that’s just honesty.
But taking that focus off people and putting it solely on God, will not only stretch you farther, it’ll shed light on areas of yourself that you didn’t even know exsisted.
“I love the LORD because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!” Psalms 116:1-2 NLT
God hears your voice more than you know. He’s listening to your heart. Every day the chase starts fresh again. You have to let God lead you to the outcome.
