It’s a funny thing our minds. How they work is remarkable. They take in what we hear, feel and see and gather information to help us process each moment. In 2 Thessalonians 3:5 it describes our hearts being led.
“May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.”
Coming into a full understanding is one thing. But coming into full expression is another. How much harder that actually is to accomplish.
From the abundance of our hearts the mouth speaks.. That is the phrase I learn to walk with. And in James 3:9-10 it talks about our mouth.
“Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those made in the image of God. And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth.”
We as humans are capeable of great and terrible things. The mind can be a very dangerous place. We need to be careful of the positions we put ourselves in. Either we set a trap for ourselves.. or we find our way out of this present darkness and help others along the way.
